Makes a change from baby names I guess Grin

I am wanting to change my first name and need ideas. Criteria is that it has to be obviously female and not mistaken for any other name or be able to be spelled or pronounced a different way. Can't use my middle name as nobody can spell that

I've NC so I can give you my name now if anyone wants to know
Nothing is jumping out at me so turning to MN for names I might not have thought of

And I'm 41 Smile

How about Dana? Keeps some of the same letters so might feel familiar or make sense easily to others and sounds a bit like Cora which you like.

Or maybe small risk of misspelling Dayna or pronouncing dahna so maybe not in your criteria.

Ok how about..

Ruth
June
Ivy
Violet
Grace
Clara

I was going to say Gabrielle until I saw your current problem!

Emma - I think that’s classic and yet current, timeless, no mess ups there

Kate (ok all the variants but just Kate is really nice)

Sophie
Fiona
Amy
Jasmine

What sort of names do you like?

and what is it about your current name that you don’t like? / if you don’t want to give the name give something similar

I'm sick of being called the male version so I've had enough and decided to change it
It's Danielle, and every email/letter, person standing in front of me, doctors appointment calls me Daniel and it's getting quite upsetting to be called male constantly!

No preference for name types but nothing too flowery!
I love Iona, Cora, thought about Louise but wondered if that would get changed to Louisa
Not keen on anything like Susan/Suzanne/Elle/Ella that can be misheard or spelled wrong
