What are your thoughts on Talitha possibly shortened to Tallie?

I quite like it although the first thing that came to mind was the BBC drama 'Showgirl' that was on TV last year. The spoilt rich kid in that who might or might not have committed murder was called Talitha.

I used to know a Talitha, known as Tally. Beautiful name and definitely distinct from Tabitha.

I know one. She loves her name and it is never shortened or mistaken for Tabitha. She pronounces is Tal EE tha but sometimes people pronounce it TAL itha. She doesn’t mind.

It sounds pretty, but like you’ve taken Tabitha and tried to make it unique.

On hearing the nickname Tallie I’d think the full name was Talia or Natalia.

I wouldn't know whether it was TAL-i-tha or Tal-EE-tha? And I might misread it as Tabitha!
I know a Tallie whose full name is Talia, if you like that?

I know one nn Tally. Lots of people struggle with the name and pronouncing. Pronounced TAL-ih-thuh by parents.
