Hello!

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and we can't decide a name!

I like classic names with cute nicknames, we had decided on Charlotte (Lottie) but someone said ooooh Charlie is cute and >t really put me off so back to the drawing board! No hate to Charlie's out there btw its a lovely name just not for me!

Her older brother is called Edward but known as Teddy.

Tia 😊 x

Charlotte is a beautiful name, and not every Charlotte have the nickname Charlie! Definitely not! Lottie is a great nickname for Charlotte!
In my country the nicknames for Charlotte or Charlotta are usually Lottie, Lotte, Lotta, or Challe.
I think you should use the name Charlotte and the nickname Lottie.

I like Charlotte. People won’t call her Charlie if you call her Lottie.

I like Elizabeth to Lizzy, Liza, Beth.

Victoria to Tori

Olivia to Livi is probably my favourite example.

Veronica suddenly came to mind. Teddy and Vera has a quirky, cute 1940s vibe.

Charlotte abbreviated to Lottie is lovely! I know a fair few Charlottes and none of them ever get abbreviated to Charlie! If you love the name I’d go for it and wouldn’t let this put you off.
