Nina - how many do you know

How many Ninas do you know, how old are they and is their name shortened from a longer name?

I think the name uncommon, my husband thinks they are everywhere, I think it’s timeless, he thinks it’s recently resurged, I think it’s fine on its own, he thinks it’s always a diminutive of something longer.

Only 1, in her forties. Lovely name. Timeless. Not come across any in school.

One, one year old. She’s delightful!

We wanted to use Nina but I couldn’t get “nee-naaw” out of my head, so we didn’t. But I still think it’s gorgeous.

I've only come across a few in my life. I work in schools but I know two when I was at school, so think it's actually quite timeless and non-trendy. In my day it was short for Christina

I know lots of Ninas. Feels like a weird baby name to me just because all the ones I know are women my age.
It's pretty though

I know a woman who is 43, a woman in her 60s and a girl who is around 6 - all Ninas, not shortened. I don't think its common but isn't out there unusual...

I know one, mid-40s. Her name is shortened from another longer name, sounds nothing like Nina!
