Next week is my due date. I am having a baby girl. Tessa, Theresa and Alice are my husband and my favourite names. What are your thoughts on these names? I quite like Tessa.

Teresa nn Tessa (it is traditionally short for
Teresa) - it’s lovely

Alice is done to death

Loub55 · 26/04/2023 20:47

I really like Tessa.
We chose Jessica in the end, but it was on my list!

BinkyBeaufort · 26/04/2023 20:42

Tessa here too

MrsTerryPratchett · 26/04/2023 20:41

I love Tessa. One of my favourite names.

HuntingoftheSnark · 26/04/2023 20:39

Alice!

I know 2 Theresas ( not the PM one ) and both have always gone by Tessa but Theresa on the birth certificate.

I think Tessa is a lovely name. I like Tara and Alice but in truth I prefer Tessa

Definitely Tessa, it's lovely & unusual without being weird.

BusySittingDown · 26/04/2023 20:35

Could you have Theresa with Tessa as a nickname?

MaydinEssex · 26/04/2023 20:35

I like Alice or Tara

Tiddlywinkly · 26/04/2023 20:34

Alice

I love Tessa and Alice. I’d go Tessa as it’s a little less common. Theresa is really dated

aalleeaahh · 26/04/2023 20:09

I'd go with Tessa. Great name. I used to love Theresa too but a bit ruined now by Theresa May.

AgnesGray · 26/04/2023 20:08

I love Tessa

IhearyouClemFandango · 26/04/2023 20:06

All lovely.

Tessa and Alice tie for me. Tessa maybe more unusual?
