JIZZABELLA.

He made it up all by himself by combining his friends Jasmine & Isabella's name and is hell bent on us considering it for his sister.

I've tried to suggest even Jazabella to stop him saying Jizz, but no, apparently not the vision he has in mind.

Can't wait until DP gets home from work later to be given this wonderful option.

DS is 6 BTW, so completely oblivious!

You’ll have to remind him how much he loves this name if he decides to start a family of his own one day

Lwrenagain · 24/04/2023 11:08

Kids are absolutely amazing aren't they 😂😂

Stripey is a very cute name.

Gordon the baby is just chefs kiss

My DS who wants the name Jizzabella for his sister does have an really interesting history of names.

He answered only to Keith for about 3 weeks after meeting a security guard named Keith who became his idol.
No idea why, Keith was actually quite unpleasant 😂

@LightDrizzle I knew santa forgot something this year!

Sorry posted too soon.

DS (2.5 when DD was born, and in a Thomas the Tank engine phase) confused the nursery staff by going in and saying firmly "My name is James and my baby sister is called Gordon". His name is not James, and funnily enough Gordon was not on our list of options for DD...

LightDrizzle · 24/04/2023 09:01

Excellent!

I’m always advocating people choose names bearing possible derivative nicknames in mind and here your son has opened up a whole world of possibility 😂

He actually has been rather clever to come up with that, not his fault he’s not in possession of the full facts. I blame the parents, surely all NT 6 year olds are au-fait with the contents of Rogers’s Profanisaurus.

FraterculaArctica · 24/04/2023 09:01

My DS (2.5 when DD was born) went into nursery and said "My name is James and

🤣🤣 I love it OP! When DS was on the way DD (then 3) was adamant that we should call him ‘Stripey’. Sadly he arrived without patterning of any kind so it just didn’t feel very ‘him’ 🤷‍♀️

I properly love it. However, can Jizzabella be a lawyer OP? Can they really?
or is it just a super cute name for a spunky little girl?

Spunky 😂😂😂

So when DP came home last night and tucked DS into bed, he asked what was the wonderful name he'd thought of for the baby.

After 14 years it's the first time I've seen him stuck for words 😂

I knew one little boy who was insistent that his little brother should be called Batman. Oddly the parents didn't go for it.

That's going to my new insult of choice 😂

🤣🤣🤣

Coffeeandbourbons · 23/04/2023 19:38

PMSL make sure you write it down so you don’t forget in 12 years time! My mum kept a little notebook with funny things we said so she wouldn’t forget. Out of the mouths of babes indeed 😂

Gratedpotato · 23/04/2023 19:37

Lovely name, I went to primary school with a Ghislane who spent year 1 to year 5 enthusiastically answering to "Jizzy" after a supply teacher mispronounced her name as Jizzlane.
I think that became much less fun for her in year 6

Throwawaynames · 23/04/2023 19:36

This reminds me of my friends mum whose 56 - she started playing an online game and named herself after her two dogs (jasper and Isabelle) and the name was JIZZY Grin

Love it GrinGrin

Riverlee · 23/04/2023 19:35

To be fair, it does sound like a proper girls name.

Jessica could be a good compromise.

MrsMoastyToasty · 23/04/2023 19:35

I'm thinking of sibling names.
Condom - from Connor and Dominic.

iklboo · 23/04/2023 19:31

Jemimapinotduck · 23/04/2023 19:26

My son suggested pencil or door, much prefer your son's suggestion!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Lwrenagain · 23/04/2023 16:47

@lunar1 God I hope so!

I might buy him a hamster so he can use it for that 🤣

lunar1 · 23/04/2023 16:45

This is MN, someone will take that name and run with it 🤣

Lwrenagain · 23/04/2023 16:45

What's the saying, "out the mouths of babes"?

Jizz as a nickname 🙈🤣🤣

I'm just hoping he forgets it, but he was so proud of himself!

The above is sadly true and has been since I was far too young to understand the connotations, the bastards haha
