Lachlan nn Lachie (also from Home and Away).
Holly-Jade. If DS had been a girl, he’d have been Holly but not -Jade 🙈.
Jamie-Louise.

Annette or Sebastian.

Still like both names now.

I am finding this thread fascinating. I didn’t love the same names as I did when I was a child, so when I was pregnant I found it so tough. I am enjoying hearing about those of you who still loved the name so used it for your children, even 15+ years later, what a strong connection.
Aside from my husband I don’t think I’ve loved anything for that long 😌(obviously my kids but they are still very young)

ButterflyBitch · 18/04/2023 14:47

I liked Sophia when I was a kid. I also picked a girls name that I liked when I was 18 and that is the name that my daughter has and I still love it.

Gabriella, Anna or Poppy.

I didn't see myself having any boys 😁.

Marnie
my first real friend I chose not my parent, she moved away when we were about 5 or 6 and can still remember feeling the loss

Marnie was the name of my imaginary friend. I don’t remember having one. My parents told me about her. What amazes me was that I don’t remember knowing of that name before that point.

testtrout · 18/04/2023 14:30

Tradescantia252 Chloe and Dylan were my DH ideal names 😂.
We didn't use these names! Not my style I was obviously pushing to use Alberta after probably seeing it on a shampoo bottle 😂
(obviously did not name my child Alberta either)

testtrout · 18/04/2023 14:25

Sarah - loved it so much used it on my doll.
Alberta- I have a strange feeling I picked this up from a shampoo or bubble bath bottle??
Jemima- Always loved this
Heidi - From the book
Daisy - used it on a pet on the end

Strangely I never thought up boy names

@FurElsie Tammy (after the comic) was one I liked too.

I was going to say comic, but then couldn't remember exactly what it was!
