I was OBSESSED with names when I was a child (still am to a degree) and I used to read name books all the time! I wanted Tristan for a boy (big James Herriot fan) but my girls names were always a huge great big long list …including Colinetta, for some bizarre reason 😂 (apologies to any Colinettas out there!)

I ended up with two boys, so no chance to use any of my favourite girls names, but I wasn’t allowed Tristan, even though I still loved it, as my ex husband hated it.

I insisted I was going to call my child after whatever day of the week they were born. If I had followed this through I would have a daughter called Wednesday and would have seemed painfully cool and ahead of the curve.
