Sibling for Ezra and Malachi

We’re expecting DC3 in September and starting to look at baby names. We won’t be finding out the sex but we’ve always found boys names easier than girl names. Our boys are called Ezra and Malachi which are obviously quite biblical but this wasn’t intentional, we just liked both names and seem to like a lot of biblical boy names. We’ve used our favourite boys names up now and have no clue on girls names. Any ideas?

Unless there is personal meaning for you, I wouldn’t necessarily pick another biblical name just to have a theme. Within reason, sibling names don’t need to ‘match’, really you’re naming individuals. It’s not like once Malachi hits high school, someone will wonder why his sister is called Aurora and isn’t that weird because it’s not in the Bible.

I can picture Ezra, Malachi and [Jude or Beau] (Jesse also great!)

and Ezra, Malachi and [Elora or Xanthie]

My dgd's are Lydia and Noa, with my dgs being Matthias, all biblical names.

They’re gorgeous names. Lydia is a beautiful name, I wish my family member wasn’t called it so that I could use it😂

I also like Miriam but would rather not have the same initial. Out of all the girl names I think Phoebe is the front runner so far. Thank you for so many suggestions

Bartholomew is fine. My first thought was Ezekiel but it's another Ez name. I think Nicodemus is a great name.

I love Lydia but I have a close family member with that name so I can’t. Phoebe is lovely, I also like Delilah.

I think another biblical name would be appropriate. I quite like Hannah but its not ver out there. Ruth. Lots of boys names in the bible.

Just go whole hog biblical with Abimelech and Abednigo.

Haha! It’s not as out there but I really like Bartholomew, I wish I was brave enough to go for it.
Although if anyone has more ‘out there’ biblical girls names they’d be welcome because the more traditional ones don’t really stand out to me.

We like Jonah, Amos, Isaac, Jesse, Jude, Levi and Silas for boys.
There’s hardly any biblical girl names that we like. I like Esther, but too close to Ezra I think. I don’t mind Lois either but it reminds me of family guy.
