NC as outing but today we found out we're expecting boy number 3 (and please don't be sad, we're thrilled and feel so blessed).

Name suggestions that go with Louis and Hugo would be most welcome.

Oscar - this is a lovely name and I'm biased as our third son has this name!

We also have Jack, Ryan and Henry 😃

Proudofitbabe · 27/03/2023 23:41

Louis, Hugo and Sebastian (Seb!) go great together.

Really don't like Rupert!

@SpringBlossomJoy @ourflagmeansdeath it isn't necessarily mumsnet but everywhere. When I had my second child (a boy), I was asked 2-3 weeks after having given birth if we're going for a third, for a girl. When I told people I was expecting, everyone was desperate for me to have a girl and I almost feel like I can't live up to other people's expectations when they were never mine in the first place. DH and I knew we were meant to be boy parents for some reason. I loved that my mum cried with happiness, I didn't expect it but she was wishing for a third boy which I was so nice to hear, saying what a blessing and how wonderful it is for the boys and us as parents. I am not saying I didn't want a daughter but despite baby not having arrived yet, I know we'll be complete after he's born.

I hear you OP! People just say the most stupid things when you have lots of boys, I don't know why.

If you like Rupert, how about Rufus? A friend of my youngest DS is called Rufus and it's really cool in my opinion.

SemperIdem · 27/03/2023 23:40

Rupert will always be a bear to me,a very cute one!

I think Sebastian would work well with your older sons names.

DramaAlpaca · 27/03/2023 23:37

I think Rory would go perfectly.

Another mother of three fabulous boys here Smile

@SpringBlossomJoy Probably because some people on here act as if not having one of each gender is an absolute tragedy, especially when it comes to sons. You do get a lot of comments on here about what a shame it is to get a 3rd of the same gender sadly.
