Lottie - that was her given name, not short for Charlotte.
Griselda - she hated it, but I thought it sounded sort of fairy taleish.

Sisters called 'Honey Bumblebee' and 'Bunny Bubblegum' (no, I promise I'm not joking!!)

I know a 'Wolf' His name is pretty unique too. I've also looked after an Ophelia and a Romily, a Birdie, a Stanley and a Wilfred, a Montague and an Orlando. They were the only children with those names that I've met.

Actually, I think it might have been Anchoreeta, the other spelling doesn't look right.

I've just remembered another one. One of my grandmother's friends, known by everybody as Rita, turned out be Anchorita. My grandmother had known her for decades and only found out her real name on the order of service for her funeral.

@MercyChant66 Murdina was from the Highlands - not sure about Wemyss. I met Wemyss at a Guide Camp in the late 1970s or early 80s - she'd be in her mid / late 50s now. Same one?

Wemyss and I were in the same Brownies and Girl Guide patrols in the 70s and 80s and yes, we're both 57! So I imagine we might have met at the same camp!
