I have learned from this that my friends and family are more prone to giving girls weird names than boys, these are all kiddos from the last ten years or so.

I’ve only met one Gandalf and one Friday.

Some of these are a bit odd, though — surely people will have come across more than one Brian, or Maura? My generation is full of Fidelmas, but clearly they haven’t travelled as widely.

I worked with a woman named Exie, her given name. I love the name and she was an absolutely lovely person. She'd be in her late 70's now.)
