What are your honest thoughts about the name Inès? What comes to mind when you hear it - what connotations?

I am French but my husband is English, btw. We live in the UK.
It would be pronounced Ee-nez.

Sounds gorgeous and ages well (ie suits a little girl, a teen and a grown woman!)

Pretty name but people would assume it was Spanish and it would always be pronounced wrong.

I went to school with an Inez. She wasn't the nicest girl on the planet but the name is cool.

I would also assume Spanish

I would probably assume that it's Spanish and spell it either Inés or Inez, which might be an issue?
