Isabelle ( Belle/Bella)
Emilia (Emi)
Noa
Neve
Addison (Addie)

Or one of the shortens as a stand alone name.

She is due very soon, I wanted a not too common name but not a unique or made up name- However the above is all me and DH can agree on and now we can't decide between these. Happy to take suggestions too that are similar.

@babynamedbaby i think Millie doesn’t flow so well as a middle name, although I do love it.

how about Isabelle Noa Olivia?

I’m not a fan of Bella, all the ones I’ve met have been unpleasant.

Luredbyapomegranate · 15/03/2023 19:29

Just read update

I think Isabelle Noa is best

Millie is a bit wet

Luredbyapomegranate · 15/03/2023 19:28

Emilia and Isabel are very nice but there are lots of them.

Niamh is OK with proper spelling. Noa will just get confused with Noah and it will be annoying. Addison I really don’t like - it’s not even a nice surname.

Estella
Eloise
Annabel
Adela
Annalisa
Christabel
Oona
Nadia
Aeryn
Arran
Aislinn (Ash-lin)

might be others

DuchessOfSausage · 15/03/2023 19:25

I wouldn't use Bella Olivia if the surname starts with G

DuchessOfSausage · 15/03/2023 19:23

Isabelle ( Belle/Bella) - Lots of Isabelles, Isabels and Isabellas.
Emilia (Emi) - will be misheard as Amelia a lot
Noa - Noah is too popular
Neve - prefer Niamh, but that's really Nee-uv
Addison (Addie) - dreadful

babynamedbaby · 15/03/2023 19:23

Thanks for all your suggestions and opinions I love loads of them but unfortunately most are taken by family and friends

What's your opinion on

Isabelle Millie Noa surname
Isabelle Millie Olivia surname
Bella Millie surname
Bella Olivia surname

Or any of the middle name combos with Isabelle or Bella.

Thanks in advance

I would choose Niamh but spelt properly

Twoinapod · 15/03/2023 11:26

I have an Isabelle and I love her name, there are others in her year though although spelt differently. She’s in secondary school.

Emilia although popular Will constantly get mistaken for the super popular Amelia.

Addison is just a nothingy surname.

Neve/Niamh is very popular and sounds similar to the Eves/evie names. I actually know of more Niamh’s than Isabelle’s

Noa is lovely and definitely the best out of your choices.

sweetcornfeta · 15/03/2023 10:40

Addison is awful. You will regret it

Emilia is nice. Classic not overly common
Niamh is lovely

Isabella is nice

atthebottomofthehill · 14/03/2023 22:38

Isabelle and Emilia are done to deaaaathhhhhhhh I honestly struggle to believe people are still using them.

Addison is a chav name, sorry for the unpopular opinion.

Noa and Neve are both nice 👍🏼 good luck!

What @atthebottomofthehill said.

Love Noa and would be a strong contender over here.

Sadiegirl87 · 15/03/2023 07:52

Out of those names I like Niamh (Neve) think it's beautiful and not too common but everyone's heard of it. Personally I think the proper spelling of Niamh would be better in the long run for your daughter growing up. I'm from Ireland and haven't seen many spelt as Neve .
Other suggestions - Phoebe, Mabel, Esme, Alice, Sasha, Emmie, Annie

HallieHufflepuff · 15/03/2023 03:32

I like Emilia 😊

Pemba · 15/03/2023 03:22

Addison is bloody awful, it's a surname meaning 'Adam's son', how is it suitable as a girl's name? Although people do (use it), obviously. I even prefer Madison, sounds a lot more feminine, although also originally a surname.

My favourite of your names is Isabelle, although I prefer the spellings Isabel or Isobel. Or Isabella.

user1492757084 · 15/03/2023 03:02

My favourite names, inspired from your list ...

Niamh Isabelle - the correct spelling of Neve I prefer.
Adele Emilia
Others ..
Eve Isabella
Alice Isabelle
Noelle Amelia/Emilia

miniaturepixieonacid · 15/03/2023 00:29

I like them all except Emilia. All Amelias/Emilias I know are lovely so I have no negative associations, I just don't like the mealy sound.

Addison and Isabelle are my favourites.

Similar to Isabelle/Emilia:
Charlotte, Abigail, Sophia, Matilda, Olivia, Victoria, Imogen, Jessica

Similar to Noa:
Amaya, Naomi, Miriam, Leila, Lana, Esther, Rachel, Leah, Sia

Similar to Neve (is this the same name as Niamh?):
Aoife, Effie, Eilidh, Caitlin, Ciara, Noelle, Nadia, Nadine, Nova, Nola, Nyla, Ffion,

Similar to Addison:
Avery, Aubrey, Amberley, Brooklyn, Dylan, Eden, Fallon, Madison, Peyton, Quinn

angelis0 · 14/03/2023 22:57

My favourite is Emilia

Mumofgirls2017 · 14/03/2023 22:56

My favourite is Isabelle but there’s sooo many Isabell(a)’s around. There’s also a lot of Emilia’s/ Emily’s/ Amelia/ etc around. Neve is ok but prefer spelled Niamh; Noa is ok, Addison for me is a bit American and not very pretty to my taste anyway. I’d suggest

maeve
maddison
madeline
nola
nova
orla
annabelle
ophelia
liliana
adelaide
adeline
savannah
eden
emmeline

midsomermurderess · 14/03/2023 22:53

‘Noa is a … boy's name’. No it isn’t. It’s a girl’s/woman’s name from the Old Testament. And, as noted above, very popular, for girls, in Israel. Such ignorance, so proudly paraded.

atthebottomofthehill · 14/03/2023 22:38

groovergirl · 14/03/2023 22:37

And congratulations on your baby! 😁

groovergirl · 14/03/2023 22:33

Isabelle is my pick from your list. Yes, it's still hugely popular after 25 years, but with good reason. If you like nn Bella, you could consider Beĺlamy, Belinda, Annabelle or even Bellatrice.

Noa -- she'll always wonder if you really wanted a boy. Consider Noella, Noemie, Naomi.

Addison -- didn't Jane Austen die of this disease? Adelaide, Adeline, Adele, Adelita and Adalia will get you nn Addie. If you like the -son ending, Alison is a 12th century classic from the Adalheidis group of names from which come Adeline etc.

Squamata · 14/03/2023 21:48

Isabelle for me!

Addison is a surname or disease.

Noa is a clothing brand and a boy's name.

Nothing wrong with Emilia but reminds me of Emily which I find a bit bland.

Neve should be spelled Niamh and it's Irish. Whatever spelling, she'll be working it her while life.
