What's the nicest boys name you ever heard?
Did you use it wish you used it it or a saving it for the future?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Another vote for James

I liked Raphael and Luca but my OH didn't like them.
Also had Corey for a while.

Our DS is Mayson and I'm happy with it.

Idris

Oh yes, that's a stunning name.

I had a friend at uni whose brother was called Fidelis. Fee-DAY-Lees. I though that so beautiful. But they were Dutch. In UK he'd probably get nn Fiddle.

I love Rafael. DH thought it was too much.

@midsomermurderess

I am not a nightmare in meetings but I bet you’re the sort of person to keep waffling on at the end and asking questions whilst everyone else rolls their eyes 😂.

Thibault or Laurie.

Simple, strong, traditional, timeless.

You're right!

I knew this would escalate. ONE name the OP asked for and we get lists.

It's really hard to choose just one, though!
I love DS's name but also like Ivo, James, Leo, Max, Reuben, Toby... there are so many great boy's names.

CurlewKate · 31/03/2023 12:42

Patrick. Used it!

PassTheDuckie · 31/03/2023 12:40

My son has the best boy’s name, obviously. It’s very uncommon and I’m not saying what it is. His middle name is the next best boy’s name. 😀Again not saying.

My favourite name that I wouldn’t use, because I really don’t like how popular it is, but I otherwise do really love it, is Jack. Then Tom. I also like Alex.

Saul - a Hebrew name meaning 'longed for' .
Very rare never hear it used and will never understand why Paul is so common, yet Saul is so much less so.
Only had one son who exh /his dad insisted be called by a long standing family traditional name for first born sons.

I lost a baby with current DH later in life who l was going to call Saul so the name was never meant to be for me sadly but l do love it.

Sorry for your loss Flowers
I have a Saul, absolutely love his name and don't understand why it isn't more popular!

Does it matter??

No, it doesn’t matter??? It’s just a game, within certain parameters, not hard to keep to. Someone ran out 16! I’m just grateful not have to work with people like that, meetings must be a nightmare.

midsomermurderess · 31/03/2023 12:25

Raphael.
