Adam is my all time favourite. I also love Rupert.

Kelljo83 · 09/07/2023 22:02

This is a lovely name

Dustyspringfield1 · 09/07/2023 21:02

I think Cody is a very cute name but a lot of people seem to dislike it.

sashastuck · 09/07/2023 17:57

Koa, which I fell in love with the moment I heard it. We’re using it for our son on the way ❤️

Evan
I didn't use it as weirdly it wasn't on my radar when had my ds.

Yay! Aw, second answer is my son’s name. Gets misheard for Kevin which I didn’t foresee. Know another Evan the same age and there’s one further up the school too. Friendly name!

Yes Raphael is lovely, as is Gabriel, neither felt right for our boys, but love them on others.

ThomasinaLivesHere · 07/07/2023 10:41

Raphael - always been a favourite but I feel it doesn’t work for a Scottish couple with Scottish surname and husband doesn’t like it anyway.

I found out I’m pregnant with a boy so it’s been good to read through this thread for ideas.

Dustyspringfield1 · 06/07/2023 20:30

I like Michael, classic.

Spanielsarepainless · 06/07/2023 19:49

If I had been a boy, I hope I would have been named Robert Francis.

Cillian

@Newnamenewname109870

It's pronounced Jo-Un. It's just like the pronunciation of the name Rowan but instead it begins with J 😊

BrambIeberry · 04/07/2023 14:23

I have a son, I used the best name ever for him, obviously, and as such, I'm not saying what it is because part of why I love it is that there aren't many of them. He has two middle names, one is the second best boys' name ever, the other is third. All are well out of the top 500.

Mainstream boys' names I love are:
Jack
Tom
Sam

I also love:
Thorbjorn (Thunder Bear)
Beaumont (Beautiful Mountain)
Huckleberry

Jowan 💙

How do you pronounce that?

Newnamenewname109870 · 04/07/2023 13:19

GonzoFlyingProducts · 10/03/2023 22:31

It's a big deal when you name a child, it's a moniker they'll carry for their whole life so think carefully, it's not just about "beauty" - can it be abbreviated? Will they suffer at school because of it (Cornelious)? Will it suit a teen and an adult? Will it work internationally (pretty hard for a lot of Welsh names)?

I went for HUGO

You could also see Hugo quite negatively though!

TooOldForThisNonsense · 04/07/2023 11:43

Aside from my own 2 boys’ names, one of which is on here a few times, I genuinely really liked Orlando

Blarn · 04/07/2023 11:43

Peter, William Evander, Ibrahim. I love the sound of Ibrahim. I have two girls.
