Boy Shortlist, here goes: Kester. Moses. Reuben. Nicholas (Nico)

Help! Thoughts? I do love all these - DH not a big fan of Reuben, but it is one of my favorites.

More suggestions always welcome by the way!

The current top two are Moses and Kester. (It's good to hear of people knowing real life ones, ha!) @DisforDarkChocolate I think it is an old version of Christopher.

I love Felix to whoever suggested that! Alas DH does not. As he's just not keen on Reuben, it doesn't seem fair to keep that one on the list really :/
We have a 2 syllable surname beginning with M, so I think the alliteration with Moses would be nice... It IS a lot though, I know. Just imagining my mum's reaction 🙈 'MOSES? What on EARTH have you called the child that for?!' And they are very Christian!

Kester - not keen
Moses - might not go with a naturey surname (Field, Green, Rivers etc)
Reuben - a bit dull, overused and often misspelt
Nicholas (Nico) - Nicholas ok, not sure about Nico

I was in school with a Kester, for what it’s worth there was never any comments made about his name. I think it’s nice.

Reuben is my favourite

Nico is nice, I don’t like Nicholas though.

Moses is ok.

id go Reuben or Kester

I knew a lovely Kester at school so have always liked the name.

Nico on its own is great.

Reuben is by far my favourite.

How about Milo, Josiah or Silas?

Absolutely love Nicholas nickname Nico, it's so beautiful. Reuben is a second. Moses is alright, I don't mind it, just not for me. And Kester is awful, simply awful. But mostly I really love your list!!

Reuben is very popular in my area though

I love Moses, there is one in my dds school. It really suits him

I've always been a fan of Nicholas but Nick / Nicky less so. I really like Nico but would worry once at school it would get shortened to Nick instead

KESTER?! 😩 Just don't. It sounds like a disease. Nico is the best of a bad bunch!
