What about April?

FenghuangHoyan · 16/02/2023 17:02

I like Hazel and Madeline.

Frida sounds like a name for a Scandinavian child. Nell sounds old fashioned and a bit "milk maid". Fern reminds me of Fern Britan and forests. Demelza sounds like a witch's name. Winnie reminds me of Winnie the Pooh and Winnie Mandela and old Aunts. Nancy sounds like a bit very bright Americans name, but then I've watched Groundhog Day lots of times and it reminds me of Nancy Taylor.

That's me, I'm sure others love the names and my view is biased by the life I've led.

Madeline - prefer Madeleine. It's nice but will be Maddie or Mads, so a No
Hazel - nice
Frida - ok
Nell/Nelly - Nell is nice. Not keen on Nelly. Nellie seems slightly better than Nelly but there are so many Ellies
Fern - like it but not keen on Ferne and Fearne
Demelza - ok as a name of a village in Cornwall. No
Winnie - I quite like Winifred - could be Winnie or Frida
Nancy - like
