Help with my ridiculous boys name criteria

Jerrylarrygary · 15/02/2023 17:02

I'm trying to think of boys names, and drawing a complete blank as I either don't like them, or if I do they have been used by my friends and family who've had boys over the last few years. I do realise I sound insanely picky, but does anyone have any suggestions for nice names with these criteria:

Doesn't begin with E, D, L or B
Not cutesy but not traditional
Not an 'old man' name
Class neutral (probably a terrible way to put it!) - i.e. not Jasper or Hugo, and not Kayden or Brayden.
Not one of these: Toby, Arlo, Ben, Theo, Leo, Isaac, Elliot, Finley, Max, Reuben, Louis, Jonah, Nathan/Nate, Etienne, Noah, Sam, Oscar, Alfie

I am open to:
Something nature related
A bit unusual is fine but nothing too out there
Welsh influenced would be ok for our family background but we do currently live in England, albeit a border town.
Not bothered on length, nickname or shortenability.

It will have an unusual but not at all weird 3 syllable surname.

Help?

Thanks for your feedback, I’ll make a note not to bother again.

Good luck finding something - you might find that the baby ‘looks’ like a particular name once he arrives.

Well I do appreciate you trying, but I did take the time to lay out my criteria (even if you disagree!) and your answer was to suggest names that clearly don't fit, and make a slightly snotty comment about 'yoonique' names and infer that I'm not aware that children grow into adults with the same name. I think we just have different tastes and that's ok.

Well my criteria did say not traditional, and all of those seem pretty trad to me? I'm afraid I hate them all.

These should all fit your criteria! People having names which are solid, neutral without lots of connotations of class etc, and not showy or yoonique seems to be a good thing to me. You’re naming someone for a whole lifetime, not just a little baby.
