Vita but short for Victoria

plumduck · 12/02/2023 05:01

I don't like Beatrix at all.

I like Vita, do you like Vida?

Or Rita?

Theoldwoman · 12/02/2023 01:42

Vita Bix? Definitely not ha ha.

PatsyJStone · 12/02/2023 00:57

Beatrix

Beatrix is lovely. I don’t like Vita, it’s the name
of a play station device and that’s what it reminds me of.

everythingsapickle · 12/02/2023 00:44

Beatrix. Like both though.

Thank you, love some of the suggestions! I don't mind Bea.

Quite like Vita but probably as a nn for Victoria or Vittoria as it traditionally is

Vivia
Ramona
Roxana
Yolanda
Selene (sell-ee-nee)
Cleo
Zelda
Ffion
Merryn

all spring to mind

I don’t mind Beatrix but Beatrix/Beatrice is collectively v overused, and she’ll likely end up Bea which might not be the punchy name you are looking for??

xprincessxjanetx · 11/02/2023 20:41

Vita

TempsPerdu · 11/02/2023 19:43

Rare that I click on a name thread and like both options! I’d go for Vita - elegant, literary and underused. Was in the running for DD but we went for a similar sounding name in the end.

Mañanarama · 11/02/2023 19:38

Vitabix

Northlights22 · 11/02/2023 19:35

Beatrix is great
vita is awful, sorry. It is so ugly …like Rita but uglier

Purpletopaz42 · 11/02/2023 19:25

I really like Beatrix, I think it's a lovely name and Bea, Trix or Trixie are nice nicknames too.

SazCat · 11/02/2023 19:16

I prefer Beatrix

mathanxiety · 11/02/2023 19:14

Love both.

Vita has the edge. It's more unusual.

Twoinapod · 11/02/2023 18:04

Beatrix is beautiful as long as it’s is said correctly.

not as keen on Vita

Sandysandwich · 11/02/2023 17:46

Beatrix

devonianpricklypear · 11/02/2023 17:40

love beatrix! reminds me of the harry potter franchise and bellatrix lestrange. good old days

amonsteronthehill · 11/02/2023 17:39

Vita sounds like a nickname for Evita

Beatrix is nicer, although not something I would use

stopringingme · 11/02/2023 17:37

Beatrix

With Vita I wonder if you would be asked what it is short for.

Tecksupport · 11/02/2023 17:36

Not overly keen on either to be honest, but I think Beatrix is the better one.

Emmamoo89 · 11/02/2023 17:36

I like both x

smileladiesplease · 11/02/2023 17:33

Vita! She might grow up up to be a Gardner too. :) Very pretty name

miniaturepixieonacid · 11/02/2023 17:31

Vita. I think it's really pretty.

MajorCarolDanvers · 11/02/2023 17:12
