Matilda, but Mazzy is awful. Tilly is the usually the diminutive for Matilda isn't it ?

Purpletopaz42 · 11/02/2023 01:19

My absolute favourite is Aurora, I think that's a lovely name. Isadora and Rosalie would be my second choices. I like Pippa too but I do think of it as more a nickname for Phillipa.

None would really make it on to any list of mine, but out of your list Matilda and Pippa are okay (though I'd go for Philippa on the birth certificate and use Pippa for short).
Not sure Mazzy really springs from Matilda though - I think I'd go for Tilly if 'planning' a shortening.

Farrah 100%

Matilda, Rosalie and Pippa are quite nice. Not sure about Mazzy as a nn.

I’m afraid the others aren’t for me. Especially dislike Aurora and Blake.

Pemba · 11/02/2023 00:16

Blake for a girl? I don't think she'd thank you for that.

Quite like Rosalie and Matilda.

Theoldwoman · 11/02/2023 00:12

None are really my style, but Astrid at a pinch.

lifeinthehills · 11/02/2023 00:11

Astrid.
