Old/classic boys names - help needed

We have had a lovely baby boy and cannot think of a name for him. We have absolutely no idea, the pregnancy was a surprise so I think I hadn’t really thought/cared about it if I’m honest.

we like names that can be shortened, and are more old fashioned and not so popular.

please give me some inspiration. Now he’s here I feel awful he’s got no name

2 of my grandfathers had less popular names than the others, Ambrose & Ellis.
Ambrose was Amby to my granny and Ellis was El or Les.
