Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Not keen I’m afraid. Juliet however is lovely.

SmugglersHaunt · 03/02/2023 09:38

Julie is a lovely name. Sounds like music

Consufed · 03/02/2023 09:00

I really like Julie and think it would be refreshing to hear as a baby name.

pilates · 03/02/2023 08:41

It’s awful, sorry. It wasn’t great 50 years ago.

drpet49 · 03/02/2023 08:39

sandranista · 02/02/2023 20:43

Yes I think Julie is nice. It's been long enough for it to have a resurgence

Resurgence? I hope not, it is such a wet name.

Outfor150 · 03/02/2023 08:38

Julie is a popular and traditional Scandinavian name. It’s within the top 40 for babies born last year.

sanityisamyth · 03/02/2023 05:13

Meh

user1492757084 · 03/02/2023 05:12

Julie Aisling is gorgeous. 10/10

Julie is known and lovely but not too popular.
I met someone who knows Julie Andrews personally and says she is a fun, talented and generous woman.

Judgyjudgy · 03/02/2023 04:41

It's ok ... for a 50 year old

Beeswood · 03/02/2023 03:19

I prefer Julia

Kokeshi123 · 03/02/2023 03:17

It's a little early, but if you like it, why not? It's a pretty sounding name.

ShittyPeasantsFromHampshire · 03/02/2023 01:29

Fun fact about the name Julie: Julie Andrews is really a Julia but was advised by her agent to go by Julie in order to sound more modern to audiences. Julia Roberts is really a Julie but was advised by her agent to go by Julia in order to sound more movie starrish.

(no idea why I know this shit)

mathanxiety · 03/02/2023 01:28

I'd choose Sarah.

Julie is a very nice name but Jules isn't imo and that's what she'd be called.

As an Irish person I see Aisling in a different light from the way it might be seen elsewhere in the world. It's as dated as Julie in Ireland.

Look up 'Oh My God What A Complete Aisling', by Emer McLysaght and Sarah Breen.

JammiDodgers · 02/02/2023 20:49

Nah .. makes me think of Ali G and “ me Julie”

Julia is better. Marginally.

None of them to be honest. There are far better names out there.

I did momentarily think of 'me Julie' and her big babylons!

007DoubleOSeven · 03/02/2023 01:23

Julie is lovely :)

Who cares if others don't like it?

ShittyPeasantsFromHampshire · 03/02/2023 01:22

Two syllable girls' names ending in an ee is a perennial trend. Julie is currently out of fashion whilst Poppy, Evie, Ivy, Elsie, Millie and Lily are in. But Julie will definitely have a comeback in 20 years or so.

I do prefer Julia or Juliana though. They have a bit more oomph.

SingingSands · 03/02/2023 01:21

Love the name Julie. It's a lovely name and I'd love to see it come back.

SplishSplashIWasTakingABath · 03/02/2023 01:08

I like it.

Jolie is … pretty!

CallieQ · 03/02/2023 01:06

Horrible not

Never met an actual Julie- I’m 48

horrible name

Dated maybe

Knoblauch · 03/02/2023 01:04

Julie is a bit meh. I like Julia or Juliet much more. Not a fan of Aisling.

CallieQ · 03/02/2023 01:03

Love Julie ❤️

LimeTreeGrove · 03/02/2023 01:00

I know a 17 year old Julie. She's French though. I like Sarah

ArtVandalay · 03/02/2023 00:42

Julie is in the same bracket as Karen, Sharon, Tracy or Dawn.

Dated, and not in a good way. I don’t think names from the 1960s are due a revival quite yet.
