Used to prefer Julia but now much prefer Julie.

I think it's lovely.

Sarah is my favourite from your list though, love it.

Don't like Aisling at all.

In the 1960s it was almost compulsory to use Anne as Julie's middle name. Bring it up-to-date by making her a Julie May, Julie Rose or Julie Grace

These were exactly the first and middle name combinations of my peers in the 60s...I think Julie and Dawn in themselves should be considered as the pretty girls names that they are, there is no legal requirement for a middle name. If you want to give one be different or give respect tona family member, it doesn't matter if it goes or flows, first name plus surname is official, nickname and surname is day to day..middle name is of interest only when there is a story behind it

If it's for a character in a book you're writing set in the 80's who is a teenager, Julie is perfect. If not - no.

I slightly prefer Julia but I always think Julie looks and sounds very cheerful somehow. It's not common nowadays, but remember children of the same age don't know that, and it's certainly not a "weird" name that anyone would make fun of. I say go for it if you love it. Having said that, Sarah is one of my all-time favourites! I quite like Aisling, but unless you live in Ireland, I think it will be mispronounced a lot.
