L middle name for Delilah

Basically that. After we’d chosen Delilah DH mentioned he would like baby to have the same initials as his mum as one of our other children has my mums name.

I’m drawing a blank, Delilah is already quite L heavy so think it needs to be a shorter name. Any suggestions?

My top contender was Loveday but DH not keen

I think any L name makes it a tongue twister. I wouldn't want to inflict that on my child.

I think you'll find that it's every other mum has Louise as a middle name.

Just go with a middle name that you like.

I think Delilah Louise flows the best but I'm not sure it's that important!

If you like Delilah but also love Lila you could have a Delilah Lila and it really wouldn't be a big deal once you're past the introducing baby to everyone phase.

something that’s a bit boyish gives the name a cooler twist and I think you get away with it cos Delilah is quite feminine.

Louise or Lucy flow well.

Two syllables work well.

Avoid repeating the 'a' sound at the end of Delilah e.g, Delilah Laura with the double a sound doesn't work, IMHO.

Whoever said Lawrence is a boy’s name hasn’t read Antonia Forest’s books about the Marlow family which includes identical twin girls called Nicola and Lawrence (known as Laurie).
Lowri is a nice L name to follow Delilah.

Delilah Loveday is epic and if your husband is imposing initials on you I think he should suck it up

Otherwise I’d go for Lois

I can see why people are suggesting Louise but it’s a little meh
