What do we think of Saffron for a baby with mixed English and Arab heritage? Too Ab Fab still?

I would like Yasmin but DH isn’t keen.

And her first dance at her wedding will have to be "I'm just mad about Saffron" . Lovely name, lovely spice. She'll live in Saffron Walden and name her daughter Crocus.

It’s fine. I’m not mad on it - too kitchen-y, but nothing wrong with it.

Oddly enough just before I saw this thread, I was just thinking about the name Persis which I really like, and would suit British/Arab heritage.
