Max alliteration

I’m going in circles and returning here over and over again. I also sort of asked this a couple of months ago - sorry, didn’t quite get clarity.

Max Marshall - yes or no?

Feel free to give one word answers - I realise the alliteration is either loved or hated! I’m going to tot up the votes because I just cannot decide.

It sounds great. Go for it!

scotstarstrikestwo · 21/01/2023 22:56

It sounds good! My son is an AA and it works well

Pinkdafodils · 21/01/2023 22:41

No, I find the Ma Ma too much. It does sound a little like a superhero imo.

Elliott Marshall sounds great!

NeedToKnow101 · 21/01/2023 21:58

I really like it. Sounds great.

resm · 21/01/2023 21:54

Yes, it sounds good. I wouldn’t worry about superhero vibes because when he’s a little older he will love this.

Smilesarecontagious · 21/01/2023 21:37

I think
Max Marshall is awsome
Much better ring to to it than
Felix Marshall
Elliott Marshall
I say its a strong awsome name go for it!!

BurbageBrook · 21/01/2023 21:29

I think it sounds great, like an actor name, but not too much. The two Ma syllables don’t make the same sound at all so it’s fine!

It's a lovely name combination, go for it!

Thanks :). Max is by far my fave name really but this was what was stopping me going for it

Well in that case I think Max is your winning name- both are lovely names and you really can't go wrong with either of them! Both sound great- honestly!! Grin Do it and don't look back!

Thanks! I’m just overly worrying about the Max Marshall, Lex Luther superhero vibes! 😂

Dragonsandcats · 21/01/2023 20:54

Yes, sounds good.

Sofiatheworst · 21/01/2023 20:53

Max Marshall is great. It’s a different sound for the first syllable of Marshall, and M is not usually a sound that people have difficulty saying (like r for example).

vipersputpaidtomylastusername · 21/01/2023 20:41

Yes!

DramaAlpaca · 21/01/2023 20:37

Yes, it's fine

catfunk · 21/01/2023 20:29

Wombat222 · 21/01/2023 20:28

ScruffMuffin · 21/01/2023 20:13

I like it. alliteration doesn't always work. Like with the letter F. fiona fowler eg, no.

Gwyneth Paltrow's son is Moses Martin and I think that sounds bad (i'm sure she's not reading) but Max Marshall sounds good. Sounds like Bruce Banner or Bill Bixby.

DuchessOfSausage · 21/01/2023 20:06

Ma-Ma. It's not great.
