Leila Clementine or Cassia Betsy?

We've narrowed down our name choices to the following. Would really appreciate if you could say which you like best? Or point out any howlers about either I've not noticed Blush

Leila Clementine
Cassia Betsy

Baby is due very shortly and is a girl. DH and I are agreed on each of the name's spelling (Layla v Leila took about 2 months!) and the order of first and middle names is because he doesn't care what she has for a middle name but doesn't like either Betsy or Clementine for a first name.

Brother is Leo.

Thanks!

Thanks for comments so far. To confirm, Leila would be pronounced "Layla" and we would like to stick to one middle name only.

Cassia Betsy

Leila and Leo sound quite similar to me.

Love Leila Clementine

You do know you’re allowed more than two names? Grin I have four … Why not just pick the three you like best and have those?

Leila and Cassia are both lovely names. Clementine is a nice middle name. Betsy stands out as having a completely different feel. I think it sounds very clunky with the otherwise elegant set of name choices. Therefore I’d pick either one of the first names, with Clementine as the middle name.

Clementine is awful. Truly awful.

Leila (im assuming you’re pronouncing it Lee-La instead of Layla) isn’t as nice as Cassia but I don’t think Cassia Betsy go together at all.

Betsy is a rather childish nickname. Cute on a toddler but think of her entire life span.

DuchessOfSausage · 12/01/2023 11:52

Cassia is much nicer than Leila. I don't like Layla or Clementine.
Quite like Betsey but it's a diminutive of Elizabeth, which is more of a traditional middle name.
