I have a granddaughter due in 5 months and she is going to be called Beatrix. Beatrice is also lovely.

My daughter liked Cicely initially but people kept mispronouncing it so plumped for Beatrix. Mind you a few people have said oh Beatrice is such a nice name 🤣

Alice is a gorgeous name - so many will suit as a sibling.

So many suggestions I will not add any. Just make a plea to use the traditional spelling of which ever name you choose, and spare your daughter from a lifetime of having to correct people.

And a hope that Alice is a loving older sister.
