There’s also Ondine?

Talipesmum · 01/01/2023 21:04

Love them both. Naia is probably a little easier as an adult, but both lovely.

CloseYourEyesAndSee · 01/01/2023 21:01

Neither!

I think Naia pips it for me. We had a fox in our garden called Nixie (Nixie Nox in Dr Seuss).

Mosaic123 · 01/01/2023 20:58

Nixie, too much like knickers?

LaLuz7 · 01/01/2023 20:57

Neither.

Nixie is super cute. Naia reminds me of Gaia which has been so overdone.

Has Gaia been overdone? It's 634th on Dark Greener.

MajesticWhine · 01/01/2023 20:53

Don't like either but Naia is better

ChildrenOfTheQuorn · 01/01/2023 20:52

Nyx. Think she's a Greek goddess. Not keen on your choices.

Grown up she could be called Nix. Nixie is brilliant. I might borrow it myself.

Naia
But she will constantly have to say 'Naia, NO, not Maya, with an N'
Nixie doesn't sound like a serious name for a grown up woman at all - albeit cute for a baby/toddler girl

BrownEyedGhoul · 01/01/2023 20:01

You cannot call a child Nixie.

Twoinapod · 01/01/2023 20:01

Like your other post these sound like what you name a pet and Nixie is a cute nickname but not an adults name. Naia is better but sounds made up

Naia is my favourite out of the two. I'm not keen on Nixi although I do like Nyx
