Sister for Evangeline? HELP

I am stuck 😬 I just feel like all my name inspiration has tried up, and the one name I was really getting keen on (Edith), DH gave a hard no.

Any help for sort of traditional (not even sure if I mean traditional tbh) but not boring girls names??

I absolutely adore Evangeline, I couldn't use Seraphina as South African DH links it to an old anti apartheid movie Sarafina so vetoed the name based on that. The only downside (to be finicky) is that they are both angelic themed names.

I actually don't like Genevieve with it as the only nn that works well for both is Evie imo.

Yeah, I'd hate Gen to be the shortening of Genevieve. I dont agree about Evie being the only shortening for Evangeline though! We actually call her the full thing, as does everyone else apart from her Granny, but I like Van as a nickname for when she's a bit older

I wouldn't mind going for a 2 syllable actually... I don't think that would be mean!
I looove Seraphina, but again DH is unsure.
From suggestions I quite like:
Felicity
Diana (but just don't think I could)
Beatrix
Vivienne (but not great connotations for me)
Ariadne is pretty great

Thanks everyone! Still feeling a bit stumped :/ I've never been that keen on Genevieve alas, but maybe I'll come round 😁

My dd is an Evangeline. If she had a sister, she would be Genevieve or Alexandra.
i think you need a long name, but that said, Diana)as suggested upthread) is rather beautiful and very under used.
