Hi,
I've looked through so many names there been a few I like but I don't feel like they are "the fit" if that makes sense?! Like names that have "ee" and "lle" sound ending. Open to any name suggestions though,
Some name examples I like:-
Phoebe, Heidi, Isabelle, Anabelle. I really liked Leonie but alot of people on here have said it's "Chavy" so it's put me off sadly.

Really grateful for anything thank you!

Just had to jump on and say... I absolutely adore Leonie, it was in my top two for girl names. I love it because it's unique and not too common but it's also not made up, which can be quite a hard balance to strike. It's much more common in continental Europe like in Germany for example. Leonie is an absolutely gorgeous name and 100% gets my vote!

Funnily enough it turns out I'm having a boy and now I'm having the exact same issue as you re. searching thousands of names and not finding the one. 🙈

Wish you all the best with the remainder of your pregnancy

PS it's Greek for thunder which pretty much suits my feisty daughter!

You could use my daughter's - Brontë. She's 23 now and has always loved her name. She's met one other who is the same age and the other girl was named after the beach in Sydney, Australia, where her parents met.
My mum suggested it. it was Andie MacDowell's name in the film Green Card. No one ever shortens it, apart from one of my friends who calls her B.

Leonie is so pretty, I don’t see it as chavy at all, and also if you like it, who cares Grin I like double barrelled girls names!

Few suggestions

I love the name Jovie

As in Jon Bon?

That just makes me want to knee slide across the carpet with a guitar in hand.

I love Leonie!

Nothing chavvy about Leonie, it’s a lovely name too. The only thing is she might end up Leo, which is nice, but very much a boy’s name right now.. if that bothers you.

When I was a kid I had a friend called Bonhomie..

I don’t like Heidi - it’s a weird combo of twee and porny to me (I appreciate that’s maybe just me), Chloe, Lucy and Hallie are a bit wet, Phoebe, Sylvie a bit overused right now. Sophie is nice but a LOT of Sophias about.

I really liked Leonie but alot of people on here have said it's "Chavy"

If you like this name then go for it. I've never thought it chavvy at all. It's pretty and not too popular.

Zen Haidee is a separate name. Not the same as Heidi.

Haidee was invented for a female character in one of his works by the poet Byron, around 1800. He probably based it on a Greek word meaning 'modest' or similar.

Heidi is a short form of the German name Adelheid (in English = Adelaide)

Thank you for educating me! I stand corrected 😃

I think Leonie (lee-oh-nee is how I pronounce it) is a lovely name. Not chavvy IMO.
