And have you ended up using any of those names?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
JamSandle · 16/12/2022 23:23

Rochelle and Natalie.

jennymac31 · 16/12/2022 23:23

Emmaline and Tobias - Our eldest is called Emma but we chose a different name for our son.

Lcb123 · 16/12/2022 23:18

Never imagined, find that weird

queenofthebongo · 16/12/2022 23:16

I had imaginary twins. Jonathon and Josephine. Their names were never shortened. They were blonde and wore pale blue. I used to brush their hair and get them ready to go out! 😳😂

DowntonCrabby · 16/12/2022 23:07

My fictional twins were Cara and Caitlin, as a child/teen it didn’t even cross my mind to imagine a future with any sons.

Now I have a DD and a DS and sadly couldn’t have called DD either of those names due to last name sounding ridiculous with them.

Jamie after a TV character. And yes that's his name

Swallows and Amazons fan?

Oh yes! I don’t know why I didn’t choose Nancy.

happiertimes123 · 16/12/2022 23:01

Gaia and Seren

I am still convinced I will have a Gaia one day!

Everydaywheniwakeup · 16/12/2022 23:01

I have a piece of paper written in 1987 with a list of "When I'm 25 I will .." and one of the things is ".. have a daughter named Chantelle". She isn't.

DoNutSweatTheSmallStuff · 16/12/2022 22:57

When I was really little it was Peter & Lindsey.
In my 20s it was Reece & Chloe.
Didn't use any of them though.

kenadams86 · 16/12/2022 22:57

Heidi and Ashton

Still like them but never used them

ShortColdandGrey · 16/12/2022 22:57

I always said if I wanted a wee girl called Morgan. When I fell pregnant absolutely hated it 🤣 My DH was very glad.

ladygindiva · 16/12/2022 22:56

Joel. Still love it. Never had a son though. Had 3 DDS .

AmyandPhilipfan · 16/12/2022 22:56

I loved Mallory Towers and was quite taken with the name Darrell. I remember asking my mum if she liked the name and being shocked when she said no! When I was younger still I liked making up stories and often called the main character Aurora. I know it's actually become quite popular recently but I really don't like it these days!

2tired2bewitty · 16/12/2022 22:54

Chatrattoria · 16/12/2022 20:20

Titty.

no, I didn’t…

Swallows and Amazons fan?

Blueberry40 · 16/12/2022 22:53

Erin and Alicia. I had boys 😂

2tired2bewitty · 16/12/2022 22:52

Sophie and Robert. Nothing wrong with them but didn’t use them.

Oddly, six year old ds was making a list of his future children’s names this week and in amongst the tv characters and made up names were Sheila and Don, so I’m looking forward to that conversation with my future DIL 😂

CranberryPecan · 16/12/2022 22:50

At 16 or so, I would have said Chloe for a girl and Dylan for a boy.
I didn't use them though.

QueenWenceslas · 16/12/2022 22:47

Evan and Anna
DH vetoed both

17CherryTreeLane · 16/12/2022 22:47

Christopher and Carrie. Only people late 40s or older will have a clue who they were.

FunnysInLaJardin · 16/12/2022 22:46

Hannah, Rebekah and Daisy. I had 2 boys!

Notaligned · 16/12/2022 22:44

Felicity and Jake. Did not make the list at all when I was choosing a name for my son. Quite cool names now I think about it though.

cariadlet · 16/12/2022 22:40

I never wanted children but I always used to think that if I did end up having a child, I would want a daughter and I would call her Laura.

Probably because I was a big fan of Little House on the Prairie.

I've got one daughter but she isn't called Laura.

Spenn · 16/12/2022 22:40

Hepzibah, Tesni and Torran. Didn't use any of them :)

RatinaMaze · 16/12/2022 22:38

I was going to have Amber, Jason and Christine. In that order.

Tbf, I still quite like Amber. The others not so much.
