crikey was at school with a mhairi who pronounced it mari, even though she said her parents knew how that spelling was said, but everyone called her vari anyway ....wtf

Pruners, Vari is beautiful...although I used to think it was pronounced Ma-hairy, which paved the way for lots of silly surname jokes

twas years ago and am no longer in the locale and after take the high road it can surely no longer be popular
i saw her on a train once my mum said we had the same cardy on NO NO NNO i said and discarded said cardy tout suite...
