Edward

Why has nobody pointed out the obvious? Clark is a surname

JE17 · 03/12/2022 05:41

I’d chose Edward. Are your name choices inspired by National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (watched it last night so Clark and Uncle Eddie are on my mind)?.

lifeinthehills · 03/12/2022 05:07

Edward.

Billslills · 03/12/2022 05:02

I much prefer Clarke (with an E).

Guakamolly · 03/12/2022 04:58

Or superman

With nerdy glasses

I have an Edward... and he's got nerdy glasses! 🤓

ElsieC22 · 02/12/2022 22:20

Edward is lovely!

Purplemagnolias · 02/12/2022 22:18

poor boy would have a lifetime of "Clark? Like Clark Kent?" ahead of him

No idea who that is and I doubt anyone would say that!!

fairycupcakes · 02/12/2022 22:08

Edward is the better of the two. Several nn options. Clark is fine too but does make me think of the shoe shop.

I'd go Edward - poor boy would have a lifetime of "Clark? Like Clark Kent?" ahead of him - more nickname options for Edward as well.

No one will say this 🤣

woodhill · 02/12/2022 20:51

Talkwhilstyouwalk · 02/12/2022 20:50

Edward! Lovely name.

Clark just sounds like one of a pair of shoes....sorry!

ModeWeasel · 02/12/2022 20:47

Edward

AiryFairy1 · 02/12/2022 20:44

@SkankingWombat Muscle?

sannys · 02/12/2022 20:42

Clark is a surname

RuthW · 02/12/2022 20:41

Edward is lovely. Clark isn't

MolkosTeenageAngst · 02/12/2022 20:39

Edward. It’s not to my taste but at least there are options with Teddy, Ed, Eddie etc. To my mind Clark is a surname or a brand of shoe, not a baby name.

Y7drama · 02/12/2022 20:37

Edward!

Eixample · 02/12/2022 20:36

Edward

MerryChristmasToYou · 02/12/2022 20:33

@SkankingWombat , mine was never on pencil cases but there is a plant with the name. I've been given more than one, which is a lovely thought, but I don't like them that much.

i'm trying to think of cleaning products now... Smile

Purplemagnolias · 02/12/2022 20:15

Clark

Edward is boring/dull
