Hi everyone. The gender is a surprise but if we have a boy we would like to find a name beginning with the letter M. We're not keen on traditional names and prefer something slightly different, but not too 'out there'. Our first little boy is called Ezra.
Below is our list so far. Would be good to know what name you would pick from our choices. Suggestions are also welcome. Thank you :)
Madison
Malachi
Makai
Maddox
Milan
Monroe

Macsen - not common outside of Wales but said as it sounds. Version of Magnus Maximus.

Macauley?

My favourite M name is Matthew but maybe that's too common for you (although I think it goes well with Ezra).

Others that come to mind -
Myles
Martin
Maxime
Mungo
Magnus
Malcolm

Another one for Micah or Monty!

I’m not a fan of overtly religious names, so of the suggestions on here I like Magnus, Merlin and Marcus.

What are your thoughts on all these suggestions op?

KloppsTeeth · 28/11/2022 00:10

Malachi is over used round here, so they are all trying out different short versions. Mal. Malley, Malc, Malcky and one has chosen “Mick”.

I like Magnus.

only place it’s popular in these isles, as far as I know..

It's a Hebrew name, the last Jewish prophet.

My issue with Micah is the pronunciation as I have taught a meeka and a myka.

I am not a Malachi fan (naughty pupil once upon a time - teacher problem!)

I heard of a baby Maverick recently which is rather fabulous.

I love Monty

I cannot understand the popularity of Maverick. The pressure!

Malachi Is literally the only one, and it’s a bit odd if you aren’t Irish.
