Baby girl due mid January and we are still really struggling with names. I am white british and DH is Pakistani (Muslim) so we need a name to suit us both. We chose Harris for our DS.
The two names we like so far is Jasmine and Talia. Any other suggestions?
Thank you!

I would, yes. Good point though if you put the 'h' in people might mispronounce it. But if you don't put the 'h' in people (like me!) might misspell it! So it's swings and roundabouts.
TBH in out glorious multicultural world even the easiest names are vulnerable to mispronunciation or misspelling, so choose a name because you love it and accept that?
Talia/Thalia is very pretty. I prefer it spelt with the 'h' for no rational reason! Maybe I very very slightly like to soften the T sound?

Thalia is indeed a fab name but I would expect it to have the 'h' in it?

Also like Aisha, Halima, Saira. 🙂

I believe Thalia is the Greek spelling, would you pronounce it the same as Ta-Lee-Ah?
