Help us decide on a girls name

Cannot decide on a name for DD, please help! My husband and I both really like Alice, Imogen and Isabelle but sadly can’t use any of these. Don’t really love any of the other names on our list so struggling to agree on the right one. Other ideas for names that you think we might love are welcome!

Vivienne - meh
Juliette - too frilly. Prefer Juliet.
Eliza - prefer Elizabeth
Lauren - prefer Laura
Poppy - cute, perhaps too cutesy?
Holly - love it but feels ubiquitous
Lucia - Loo-CHEE-ah? Yes, nice
Harriet - love
Emilia - not a fan. Sounds nasal and whiney.

We have very similar taste OP. DD1 is Beatrice and I think DD2 may be Eliza - Verity, Florence and Isobel are also on our shortlist. I also love Harriet but can't use it.

Zara - it's ok. How about Lara?
Vivienne - quite like it actually. Violet / Viola?
Juliette - nice, prefer Juliet
Eliza - bit plain
Lauren - pit 90s. Laurel? Lorelei?
Poppy - bit twee
Holly - bit dull. Hazel?

Harriet - bit horsey

I have settled on Alice for my third. If you love it go for it - so what if you know someone with the same name! It’s a compliment that you like their name 🤣

Thanks all, interesting to hear everyone’s views. Think Lauren and Holly are definitely off the list! Also agree with most people that I prefer the spelling Juliet now that I’ve seen it written a number of times. I love Lucia but only with the pronunciation Loo-See-ah so I think the various different pronunciations will drive me mad so should probably strike that off too!

Love Matilda, Beatrice, Nell and Elowen of the suggestions above but my husband is not keen on them (Yet!)

I’d stay away from all that are in top 100, especially top 50, unless you want your daughter to always be called Poppy G. or Poppy FullLastName
