Which one is your favourite?

These are names I've been thinking about this week. The ones with stars are names I'm considering adding to the list for our baby. Comments on the names are appreciated and also let me know which one's your favourite:

Niamh* - the one I know says it neev but the internet says nee-ev is possible too
Sophie* - husband likes this but I knew so many growing up
Summer
Alexine*
Sarah - husband likes but I have the same problem as with Sophie just that I know even more

Also, as a middle name would you prefer Aisling or Niamh? We especially love the meanings of these two but the sound as well.

Summer was a favourite of mine as a teenager and I just thought of it again this week. I still think it's nice but don't think I'd choose it (especially because my favourite season is actually not Summer). But sometimes I get nostalgic about kitschy combinations like Summer Rose (which I wanted to use for ages) or Summer Storm.

I like Summer but every Summer will have Rose tacked on to it. Rose/Grace/May is every girl’s filler middle name at the minute.

Sophie is really common. I only know grown up Sarah’s so it would be nice to hear of a small one.

Alexine is terrible, sorry.

Trying to work out how I pronounce Niamh.

There are so many Sophie's around - I know several from toddlers to women in their 40s. It's by far the most common name amongst girls/women I know. Whereas I don't know any young Sarah's at all - it's a lovely name.

Niamh - I like this, I've only ever heard it pronounced the way you know.
Sophie - This has always been a favourite of mine (DC3 would have been Sophie if he'd been a girl). I think I would lean more towards Sophia now.
Summer - I like, but for a summer baby.
Alexine - I've not heard this one. I imagine it would be shortened to Lexi.
Sarah - Just makes me think of a bully at school, so my judgement is clouded on this.

I like Niamh Aisling or Sophie Niamh.

I don't understand with Niamh if you want it pronounced nee-ev. I've only ever heard it as neev, but everyone knows the Irish spelling I think. If you want nee-ev, good luck.

Alexine. No.

Sarah. Don't know any under about 35. I think it's classic and very underused. Sophie is much more used.

Niamh for sure. I know two British Niamh’s and their names are never mispronounced! It’s a well
known name (and if anyone doesn’t know, they just need to ask once).

I really like the name Summer too! You’ll probably get less-kind comments from a lot of MNers but I think Summer Niamh would be lovely ☀️

I agree Sophie and Sarah are both extremely common. I'd prefer Sophie/Sophia over Sarah though.

I know you said you don't want to use it but my favourite out of the list is actually Summer Blush
