Girl: Ozana, Miruna?

Probably bit unusual for UK, but what do you think of it?

Did you guess they are pronounced like this

Ozana - O-za-na

Miruna - Mee-ru-na (end is like Una)

Miruna, to my surprise is ranked 884 for uk in 2021! And there is no Ozana in uk

Love them both

Lcb123 · 11/11/2022 21:55

Both sound like pharmaceuticals or contraceptives to me…

Talkwhilstyouwalk · 11/11/2022 21:53

The first sound like Osama....not ideal

The second sounds like a type of birth control.

Just my opinion and first thoughts when I saw the names....

LeavesOnTrees · 11/11/2022 21:52

Miruna made me think of the Mirena coil.

JamSandle · 11/11/2022 21:50

Not a fan of either but prefer M.

Meredusoleil · 11/11/2022 21:49

Romanian names?

I used to teach a Miruna. Not the best name. Ozana not heard of, but don't like much.

Better names Alexia, Mirela, Mia, Sofia.

Dotcheck · 11/11/2022 21:47

Both really really awful.
No one would pronounce it Meeruna, it looked like MIRE to me

And Ozana = Ozark? Orzo?

Nope to both

AssumingDirectControl · 11/11/2022 21:44

I like Ozana but Miruna, written down, made me think of mirena coils. I’d also have mispronounced it.

Roystonv · 11/11/2022 21:43

Both sound like a medical company trying to find a name for a coil, contraceptive or hormone.

Onnabugeisha · 11/11/2022 21:36

I’ve always like Ozma.
She is the Queen of Oz (yes, from Wizard of Oz books).
