Clover is my least favourite. I wouldn't like to live with that name-it sounds like a name for a farm animal to me. I like your other choices apart from Alba.

some lovely suggestions thanks so much. still trying to sway dh but he loves ottilie. i agree elodie and ottilie sound a bit funny together can i ask what the general consensus is on that combo please? 😅

I wouldn't want another name ending in a IE /Y with Elodie.

So Ottilie would be a no.

I like

Elodie and Alice
Elodie and Sienna
Elodie and Rosa
Elodie and Beatrix
Elodie and Josephine
Elodie and Juliet
Elodie and Martha

Elodie and Cosette
Elodie and Natalie
Elodie and Cara

Natalie is a good shout, you hardly ever hear it any more and it's so elegant and suits at every age. Goes nicely with Elodie too! I also love PP's suggestion of Camille.

I'm really sorry OP I'm not wild about any of the names on your list except Matilda, which I quite like. It's a very strong, fierce name.
