We have a list of potential names but really need to narrow down the list a little more. Middle names are flexible, first names not so much.

Interested to hear what others think sound the best. (Some of these are my choices, and some are my husbands, so there is an element of friendly competition here too!!)

(Appreciate these name combos will seem very traditional/popular and not everyones cup of tea, but we're okay with that!)

Dylan Thomas Pink
Arthur William Pink
Charlie Edward Pink
George Daniel Pink
Miles Daniel Pink
Thomas Michael Pink

George Pink sounds very similar to George pig so I’d avoid that if you don’t want any Peppa references!

Dylan Myles
Myles Dylan

Daniel Pink is a writer and Dylan Thomas was a famous poet so worth considering if you want those connections. I also agree with the Thomas Pink comments, so maybe drop Thomas and possibly Daniel.

Charlie Pink sounds lovely, full of character. Maybe with middle name William.

Miles or Thomas for first names (or Thomas Miles Pink, Miles Thomas Pink).

Theoldwoman · 06/11/2022 00:05

Thomas Michael

TheBeautifulNorth · 06/11/2022 00:02

All nice but Thomas Pink is a shirt brand. Don't do that one

Barleysugar86 · 06/11/2022 00:02

I love Arthur William Pink as a whole name, but Art is a very popular nickname unfortunately.

Do you want an Art Pink? :s

Luredbyapomegranate · 06/11/2022 00:00

Well Thomas Pink is a well known brand of shirt so no to Thomas

Miles is your best bet

Dylan is ok, but combined with Pink it’s a bit effeminate

The rest are overused. If you do use Charlie I would put Charles on the birth cert

EtonMusk · 05/11/2022 22:30

I think with the single syllable surname you need to think about the possibility for single syllable nicknames - Tom Pink for example sounds a bit abrupt whereas Miles Pink (can't be shortened) works better and sounds more balanced.

I like Arthur or Miles best.
Charlie is ok.
Don't much like Dylan.
George works ok interestingly, but the likelihood of Tom as a nickname (even though I love it) would put me off using Thomas with your surname.

I prefer Miles

Rauha · 05/11/2022 22:22

George Daniel Pink

I'd probably choose Arthur William or Thomas Michael :)
Think George Edward could be a nice choice too
