I think they’re both the Barry/Roger/Colin of the future - ie they’re very Now so will date. But if I had to pick one, Arlo.

They both will - because they’ve become very popular very fast, names like that almost always rapidly fall

Arlo is fine

River is really naff

They are both overused - Arlo has been very popular for longer, but for this age group I’m guessing River will be even more so

I do think these names will both date quite badly, if that’s a concern for you. They are very ‘now’.

I used to like River but it does just sound a bit trying to be trendy. Arlo is probably my preference but it’s suddenly very popular and I wouldn’t be surprised if it reaches the top 10.

Neither for me.. Arlo slightly better. I know a Fox too (not keen), he's about 6 so there are a few around!
