Really like the name Raphael for a boy.
Honest thoughts and opinions please.
We live in the UK & hubby has latin roots.

Didn't choose it personally because I don't like what it gets shortened too.

I like it too. However, I have an enormous 6’5” son who is really stocky and would sound ridiculous if called Raphael.
depends what you and your husband look like..

My five month old is called Raphael (so obvs love the name)! We call him Raphy/ Raph for short.

My dad was Raphael but here in Ireland pronounced rafe e el not raff eye el. He was Ralph tho to all. My bro is called Ralph and his son Ralphie. Love the name in all its iterations. X

I have an 11yr old Raphael. Usually called Raph or Rafa. Sometimes Raffles or RifRaf.

Never had a negative comment either.
