Down to two girl's names

DD2 is due in a few weeks. We are down to 2 names. DD1 is called Anoushka.

So, Lyra or Holly?

(DH and I are both fans of His Dark Materials btw)

I don’t like either Lyra or Holly
I think you need to go for something like Tatiana , Rosanna , Natasha
not Arabella ( though I love the name and Annabelle ) because of having the same initials

(although I’m afraid I think I’d rather be a Holly than an Anoushka) I dislike Lyra which sounds harsh.

Arabella, same start and end, I think it's fancy enough to pair with Anoushka!

Was going to say Holly but Lyra had grown on me quickly and I think it is better with Anoushka.

Like what though? It's been 8 months and I can't think of one! Any suggestions?

I always think if you're down to a couple of names wait until baby is here. One might fit her better.

Holly is so plain next to Anoushka! Lyra is much better but I still don’t think it has the same pizzazz as Anoushka.

Lyra is so elegant, and goes far better with the equally elegant Anoushka IMO.

Holly is nice but a bit more ordinary, for me: more in the Megan, Amy, Hannah bracket of perfectly nice, but slightly boring names 😂

Have you thought about Lara?
