We have a Henrietta (Hettie) and Matilda (Tilly), they are mostly known by their nicknames, apart from at nursery. Any ideas for a name for their sibling (gender unknown). Thanks so much.

Lavinia

Bartholomew, Barty as a nickname. Loved this name when I read Tom's Midnight Garden when I was a child.

@Inasec24 Vincent has always been down as a middle name for a boy - it's a family name. I hadn't considered it as a first name but I do like it.

Thanks for the ideas everyone.

Thank you. I do like Florence a lot and this has always been on my girls list. I also quite like Jemima (mimi) and Morgot I will mention these to my husband.

Our previous boys names were Arthur and Albert (Bertie/Albie) but we have gone off both of them.

Absolutely doesn’t sound ridiculous. Flossie is a fab match. Their full names couldn’t be more traditional!

With two twee names I’d go for something a bit more trad/ serious

Tilly, Hettie and Flossie for instance sounds ridiculous
