Sibling for Henrietta and Matilda

We have a Henrietta (Hettie) and Matilda (Tilly), they are mostly known by their nicknames, apart from at nursery. Any ideas for a name for their sibling (gender unknown). Thanks so much.

Henrietta, Matilda and Clara

Henrietta, Matilda and Quentin

You seem to have picked up the vibe of Roald Dahl that the OP has in her name choices.

Thanks everyone. I like Evenlyn/Evie a lot but I am a bit worried about how popular the Evie/Ava etc names are. I do really like Florence so I think this may be the favourite so far. Thanks all.

Boys we are really unsure about but perhaps that's because we can't visualise a boy at the moment.

sopeas · 03/11/2022 14:39

How about Louisa for a girl & Wilfred for a boy?

Galaktoboureko · 02/11/2022 19:09

How about a heavy hitter like Gertrude or Agatha?

Henrietta and Matilda both make me think of queens. So Adelaide, Elizabeth, Victoria, Alexandra, Philippa, Guinevere, Caroline for girls?

Thanks so much again.

We have added Rupert to our boys list. I really like Rupert.

I do like Evelyn (Evie and variations of) and Olivia - they are on our list - but I am put off by how popular they are and this will probably mean it's unlikely we would go for them.

You seem to have a bit of a theme of Queen Consorts with Henrietta and Matilda, so why not keep that going with Alexandra, Adelaide or Philippa.

For a girl, my first thought was Arabella but I’d also consider continuing the historic queens theme:

Isabella
Eleanor
Elizabeth
Charlotte

All go with your other girls’ names (I LOVE Henrietta!) and all have equally great nickname potential. Although I appreciate some may be too popular for you.

AlwaysLatte · 26/10/2022 23:06

I love the name Tabitha, it was one of the top 3 if we'd had a girl.
