Help us give our baby girl a name

Hi ladies,

Currently 19 weeks pregnant and we are yet to agree on any names.

We would like her middle name to be Angela (after my Mam who passed away last month) and her last name will be Orr.

My partner likes floral names, but we can't use Ivy, Lily or Rose.

Please help us give our little girl a name 😂 xxx

@RogueFemale , the OP was 19 weeks pregnant in October 2022. The baby has probably been named by now.

Not sure why @anotheronettc felt the need to resurrect it.

_ Angela Orr is a good structure to kick off with.

But I think you can do much better than Ivy, Lily or Rose, which are very overused names.

Melissa Orr works okay. MAO isnt offensive as initials
Rosie Orr (RAO)

( please DONT call the Orla! Orla Orr? Flora Orr doesnt work either)

Names ending in Y maybe your best bet, or a hard consonant- Like Hannah Sarah etc I like Lucy Orr- but its not a flower

I think you also want to stay off the Poppy / Lily / Frilly names - they are overdone and wet

I know of a little girl who is named Ela after her Nan AngELA.

So Ela Florence, Ella Iris or Ela Primrose would be lovely if you decided to go that way.
