Indie - like it
Noa - love it
Georgie - meh about it
Alessia - how you pronouncing it? a-lee-C-a? It's oj
Esme - prefer Esmerelda
Francesca nn Ceska - don't like your diminutive
Hattie - Harriet is ok
Theodora - nn Teddie - don't like your diminutive
Freya - love, love, love

Robert - bleurgh
Oscar - nice
William - solid
Isaac - like
Henry - cute
Kit - no
Finn - love
Luca - love
Blake - ok
Billy - no

So I'd have Noa, Freya, Finn and Luca

Indie - quite sweet
Noa - cool name, but would Noa Rose sound a bit like "not a rose'?
Georgie - a bit outdated to me
Alessia - lovely, though I don't like that the centre of the name is the word 'less'
Blake - strongly dislike
Esme - nice
Francesca nn Ceska - outdated
Hattie - a bit frumpy
Billie - bit too wannabe cool for me
Theodora - nn Teddie - soooo many Theo/Thea names at the moment
Freya - very very popular

Robert - Robert Rose?
Oscar - overly popular, bit boring
William - nice, my favourite
Isaac - okay, though gets misspelled a lot
Henry - bit boring
Kit - sounds like sports kit
Finn - nice enough, bit wet
Luca - same

So my favourites would be Indie Rose and William Rose!

Anything too short doesn't flow with rose. I would go for longer options, Francesca, Oscar etc.. all fine. Kit and Noa are too short for rose imo.

I would have Harriet for hattie and Georgia instead of Georgie. Some nice names in there though. Billie Rose is very cool.

My favourites are
Indie
Georgie
Esme
Francesca nn Ceska
Theodora - nn Teddie (although not sure this goes well with Rose)

Oscar
Kit
Finn (prefer Finley with Rose)
Luca

Noa and Luca. Lovely names.

Adultchildofelderlyparents · 21/10/2022 14:53

My choices would be
Esme Rose
Freya Rose
Robert Rose
William Rose

LeMoo · 21/10/2022 14:46

Esme or Billie

William or Henry

I think boys names are hard with the surname Rose.
It probably has to be quite a strong masculine name.
I think William Rose
Isaac Rose and
Henry Rose

all work well.

I won't comment on the girls as they are all very different to my style, so I'm not much help.

QuinoaWest · 21/10/2022 14:41

Freya Rose

Isaac Rose

S25 · 21/10/2022 12:36

I love Blake! The only Blake I’ve known is male but l really love it for a girl ❤️

of your list I also like Indie, Noa & Billie

all of which go fine with your surname!

Of your boy’s names I like Henry, Kit & Finn - with your surname though I think Finley nn Finn sounds better.

mondaytosunday · 21/10/2022 12:24

I love Georgia (rather than Georgie).
Kit for boy.

Yeah I’m completely struggling with boys names, like you say particularly with our surname.

Love Noa - is it too popular?

Noa is lovely and I like Alessia too. Boys I’m not as keen on but I like Luca and Finn although I don’t think Finn Rose sounds very good.

Lightningrain · 21/10/2022 12:07

I love Noa and Alessia. I considered both but wondered whether Noa would be confused for a boy and if Alessia would be weird when we have no Italian connections.

From the boys names my favourites are Isaac, Finn, Henry and Luca although I prefer Lucas to Luca.
