Sibling for Nirvana,Jude and Nicks

Hello again mumsnetters!!

i don’t know if you remember but I made a thread a while ago about expecting baby number 3 and now we are expecting baby number 4

We already have Nirvana (Varnie), Jude and Nicks and we are looking for names to go with the music theme
we got a lot of hate last time for the theme of our children’s names but overall it was helpful on deciding baby nicks’ name (we also don’t know the gender yet!)

names we are considering this time:
Arabella (Ari) Arctic monkey association but also love the nickname Ari
Floyd
Florence (flossy) Florence and the machines and also a family name on my side of the family
Drummer (may be the top contender for a boy)
Lyric
Smiths
Leon
Oasis

@RNLD1981 all these bands are ones me and DP like (we have a varied indie/rock taste)

in the shirt list for DD3 we had blues which I’m really taking a liking Into again as well

Surely you'd need to really like a band, singer or artist to name your child after them. Just picking a random name associated with a group/artist that works as a name seems a bit odd!

Which artists/bands do you love OP?

She loves the Sex Pistols, Limp Bizkit and Korn.

Of your list, I prefer Arabella & Florence but I’m a traditionalist, so that was always going to be the case!

I would choose Leon or Florence because they’re real names that won’t burden the child evermore.

Please don’t choose drummer or Oasis. They aren’t music inspired names, they’re just words associated with music. Like saying ‘oh we love floral themed names, so this is baby Garden-Centre and his twin sister Flowerpot.’
